David is the third largest urban area in the region. David is only 1 hour to white and black sand beaches and also only 1 hour to the mountains near Boquete. It functions as a hub for commercial activities, mainly agriculture and cattle raising and supplies the rest of the country. It is also a hub for tourism thanks to its nightlife, entertainment, gastronomy, shopping and surfing.
